Jan Stoop (1961) grew up in England and after graduating in Economics he moved to the Netherlands where he began his career as a credit analyst at ABN Bank.
Following this, he acquired more than twenty years' experience as a research analyst and consultant for institutional investors in the securities business at Barclays de Zoete Wedd and ABN AMRO.
As Head of Dutch Equities at ABN AMRO Bank, Jan was responsible for research, sales and trading in Dutch shares. He joined Philipse & Co as a partner in 2007.
